The NOMAD HD Multicam IR is a compact, cost-effective wireless surveillance unit providing rapidly deployable, multi-view street surveillance; all using digital connections giving you a crystal-clear HD image.
With day/night cameras and a 360° view, it is designed to prevent a wide range of criminal issues for the toughest urban areas. View live footage over 4G or Wi-Fi whilst recording at 1080p at all times. This compact unit provides the user with a subtle and easy to use tool in the fight against Antisocial Behaviour, Terrorism and much more.
Made for Rapid Deployment
The NOMAD HD Multicam IR can be rapidly deployed on lamp columns within just a few minutes and you can use them as temporary as well as completely permanent installations. The systems draw minimal power through their 4G operation and wireless connections. These cameras are perhaps some of the most versatile CCTV solutions across the UK for rapid-deployment solutions.
Instant Deterrent Against Crime
The NOMAD HD Multicam IR re-deployable camera system provides a fast and reliable response to cover a wide range of situations including anti-social behaviour, town center monitoring and event coverage. Simply installing a NOMAD camera can provide an instant deterrent against crime.
The NOMAD HD Multicam IR is a multi-view street surveillance unit providing coverage of multiple areas using 3 separate cameras and a covert pin-hole camera to ensure protection for the unit if it is attacked from below.
The NOMAD HD Multicam IR combines remote monitoring of multi-view video (via Wi-Fi, or 4G) with remotely accessible NVR recording (with Wi-Fi or 4G), allowing real-time streaming of video.
With its 360 degrees capability, the NOMAD HD Multicam IR not only sees everything clearly but also acts as an immediate deterrent to would-be criminals.
Peace of Mind with Crystal-Clear Picture
The NOMAD HD Mini IR features a high definition infrared camera, allowing you to capture footage at Full 1080p without having to compromise on any features or quality. This provides local communities with the clear presence of CCTV whilst also providing local authorities with HD evidence.
See Everything; Day or Night
The Digital HD NOMAD Multicam IR upgrade has an infrared camera fitted instead of normal cameras to allow the system to view areas that are not covered by any form of lighting. This is particularly useful for viewing areas at night, especially waste grounds, parks or children’s play areas.
This can be requested as an optional extra when you place your order.
Remotely Connect, View and Download
All NOMAD cameras come with simple, easy-to-use software, designed to allow you to monitor your cameras with ease so you can fully optimise your operations.
Using the latest wireless technology, customers are now able to connect to the camera remotely with a laptop or a desktop using Wi-Fi or 4G*. As standard, all NOMAD cameras come with a Wi-Fi link that allows easy connection to any laptop computer or desktop computer if they are located up to 50 meters away. This link is one of the best ways that you can set up a network or monitoring station within your business
or home.
With secured access, you could monitor your cameras anywhere with an Internet connection or connect directly to the camera via your wireless network. Having the ability to monitor your cameras will ensure that you can turn them in a favourable direction to capture the best possible footage.
For small communities that need a CCTV system installed, all of the appropriate software and connections can be set up via 4G* to ease the process of setting up as well as ensure that the entire system can be transported and moved for temporary events, job sites and more.
Gather Evidence with Ease
Using NOMAD cameras makes the process of downloading footage over Wi-Fi astoundingly simple. You can also view footage directly in your office via 4G*, as well as record live events on your computer as they happen, allowing you to produce clear snapshot images for use as evidence.
After evidence is captured, it's very simple to export evidence into video files on the computer, burn DVDs, or send out videos directly to law enforcement for criminal cases.
Compatible Between Systems
As well as re-deployable for set up in almost any area, all NOMAD cameras use a special mounting bracket for rapid deployment in any space. Rather than having to struggle with the process of deployment of the device, it can be moved or potentially set up and activated in minutes.
Unlike some other CCTV solutions which are not capable of rapid deployment, you can get up and running in just a few minutes with any NOMAD camera and be extremely confident in its capabilities.

A rapid deployment system is often used to cover crime hotspots where a quick solution is needed and offers all the required parts to make a CCTV system in one product. With a built-in recorder/camera and often Wi-Fi, 4G data, 360-degree viewing, IP67 weatherproofing and vandal proofing.
These camera systems are typically re-deployable domes, towers or vehicle-mounted wireless systems that can be deployed instantly.
HD refers to high definition or 720p/1080p resolution, 1080p is known as Full HD. This resolution is a significant step up from 480p which can be seen in the image (on the right).
The first figure (1920) refers to horizontal pixels and the second figure (1080) denotes vertical resolution. The simple difference between HD and SD images is the number of pixels contained in the image
With the ability of Wi-Fi connectivity, you can instantly review the footage you have captured on a smartphone, desktop application or tablet depending on what software comes with your device. Many will also allow you to live-stream the video content with transport apps also offering tracking.
IP or Ingress Protection ratings are international standard ratings to define the sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against dirt, moisture and foreign bodies. The first number that follows IP has a specific meaning which indicates the level of protection the equipment has to foreign bodies excluding water. The second number will identify the level of protection the product has to moisture (submersion, drips, sprays etc).
(6) Totally dust-tight. Full protection against dust and other particulates, including a vacuum seal, tested against continuous airflow.
(5) Protection against low-pressure jets (6.3 mm) of directed water from any angle (limited ingress permitted with no harmful effects).
Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) technology is crucial for a surveillance camera. 2DNR works by analyzing individual frames of video, identifying algorithmically and correcting those pixels that likely represent noise.
Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) technology is crucial for a surveillance camera. 3D-DNR works by analysing the differences between successive frames in order to adjust pixels and improve quality. 3D-DNR reduces unwanted picture noise and compensates for image distortion due to colour blending errors
True Day/Night feature can be used for precise colour reproduction. With a built-in dual filter system, known as the Infrared Cut filter Removal (ICR) mechanism, the infrared cut filter can be used at day time, or in bright lighting conditions, to provide enhanced image in full-colour. At night time, or in harsh lighting conditions, it will be removed for greater light sensitivity in monochrome mode.
