Although the Lawmate BT10i recorder appears to be a Bluetooth speaker, it is actually a Wi-Fi and IP enabled complete recording system. The Wi-Fi connection permits full user control via your smartphone or tablet, the IP connection will allow you to view, listen and watch content from anywhere in the world.
You can also use the new BT10i as an actual Bluetooth speaker although for optimum battery usage, we recommend only using this function whilst mains powered. The LawMate covert Bluetooth Speaker Hidden Camera is a 3 in 1 device: use it as a camera, video recording device and/or Bluetooth speaker. This covert Bluetooth Speaker camera is Wi-Fi enabled and IP based which can be remotely accessed and viewed with the PV Cam Viewer App on any smart device as well as recording directly to a memory card
The camera will capture 1080p HD video at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. A fully charged battery will provide up to 180 minutes of video (with Bluetooth turned off) and the camera is supplied with a free 16gb Micro SD card (supports up to a 32gb card).
The camera provides optional watermarked time and date stamping and produces Law Enforcement grade video and audio. Whether you are a covert camera enthusiast or a professional investigator, this system will allow you to record in any situation whilst maintaining a low-risk profile.
HD refers to high definition or 720p/1080p resolution, 1080p is known as Full HD. This resolution is a significant step up from 480p which can be seen in the image (on the right).
The first figure (1920) refers to horizontal pixels and the second figure (1080) denotes vertical resolution. The simple difference between HD and SD images is the number of pixels contained in the image
H.264 is a video compression for digital video recorders to use when reducing video file sizes without losing resolution in the captured footage. H.264 standard compresses the footage so that only half the storage space is used however the same video quality is maintained. Advanced Video Coding (AVC) uses Macroblocks to process information in 16x16px blocks.
Motion detection improves your home security as a device can lay dormant to avoid filling memory cards with wasted still footage and will activate when motion is detected.
Alongside avoiding wasted memory it will also save on energy usage and is more convenient when reviewing footage.

To manually install PV Cam Viewer on your smartphone, go to App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) on your phone. Enter “PV Cam Viewer” to search and download the App “PV Cam Viewer”. Once the PV icon shows on your phone, the app is successfully installed.
With the ability of Wi-Fi connectivity, you can instantly review the footage you have captured on a smartphone, desktop application or tablet depending on what software comes with your device. Many will also allow you to live-stream the video content with transport apps also offering tracking.

International Standard usually takes between 7 - 10 working days. The delivery time depends on where you're located, the time of year and post service in the country we're shipping to. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery to account for any issues in transit. We can only consider items as lost in transit after this time.

Whilst we strive to ensure that all goods reach you in perfect condition, there may be a time when this does not happen. If you find that your goods are faulty on arrival, then you are entitled to a repair, replacement or a refund. Please contact a customer service representative prior to returning goods.
We guarantee your satisfaction with any goods that you purchase from us. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason you may contact us within 10 days of receiving your goods to arrange a full refund or credit note of goods.
Unwanted goods must be returned to us unused and in their original condition within 14 days. We recommend that returned goods are sent to us by special/recorded delivery with the appropriate insurance cover as they will only be deemed returned when signed for by us. SURE24 will not refund the carriage cost of the returned goods.
Where goods are not returned in this time we reserve the right to arrange collection at cost to the customer.
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the products. This entitlement excludes any items that were special orders. We will issue a refund within 30 days. This refund will include any shipping charges you paid when you made your purchase.
Although you have a right of refund, you will have to return goods and pay the postage costs of shipping back to SURE24. It is important that returned items are with the original packaging and undamaged. Goods that are returned damaged will incur a charge.
