Leonardo DRS to supply US army with FLIR

FLIR to be supplied to US army

The contract was awarded to Leonardo DRS who are a supplier of air combat training systems, land electronics and naval power systems. The contract outlined that there needed to be a delivery of “second-generation forward-looking infrared (SG-FLIR) sights for combat vehicles” along with infrared sensors that support surveillance and fire control for several ground combat vehicles.
