SURE and Personal Alarms

SURE has been the market leader in design and development of personal attack alarms since the launch of the award winning SURE SG100 in 1992. Types of Personal Alarm

Electronic Alarms

Battery operated alarms emit a pulsating sound, they are available in different sizes and styles, for instance some have flashing strobe lights or are designed to fit onto key rings. Strobe alarms are particularly useful for walkers, joggers etc as during dark evenings they can attract attention or help the user to feel more confident by using them as a torch. Key ring alarms offer the user a smaller easier to carry alarm which can be attached to keys or used to protect a handbag. Some key ring alarms do not emit such a loud siren, the SURE Key Ring alarm however utilises the same electronic circuit as the award winning SG100 and emits a stunning 130+ db. Young people, often the most likely to feel vulnerable, do not carry alarms due to size and street credibility, SURE has designed an alarm specifically for them, the New Charm Alarm. Gas Alarms

Gas operated alarms emit a continuous shrill sound; again they are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. They can be carried in the hand for immediate activation in the event of an attack. Slimline and Key Ring versions are available; they contain less gas but are smaller and easier to carry. New developments in gas operated alarms have seen the introduction of the Trident, 3 in 1 alarm, this alarm emits the same shrill sound in addition to a UV tracer and skunk smell. It can be worn on the belt in a holster making it more acceptable for men to carry. Particularly useful for night watchmen, security guards etc.
